Our curriculum also includes numerical integration, which is in the corresponding Calculus II text, but that single section could be easily incorporated into our Calculus I course. The strong points of this text are clear, straightforward explanation and examples of the standard computational techniques of Calculus.

There are also several projects that are suggested in the book that are in line with current calculus pedagogy trends. The text is clearly written, and its colloquial style is a strong point of the book. Overall, this is a solid reference text. Logically reasonable and convenient.
