I personally prefer the NANOWEB coating over the POLYWEB because, to me, it doesn’t feel as thick. Details . Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2018. They hold tune really will and complement my Taylor 314ce perfectly. They offer a bright almost whiny tone, very loud and vibrant, easy to hammer on/pull off. The tonality and durability of Elixir Nanoweb strings have to be experienced to be believed. Hi Purchased these and was very excited to try them but while I was stringing it up and tuning it the G string snapped right at the tuner and almost took my eye out. They were Phosphor Bronze Nanoweb Light, just what I wanted and what I had been told didn't exist.
The previous strings were on my guitar for around 4 months. They just ring above / beyond what any normal steel strings put out - I really appreciate the warm and LOUD tone they put out. I bought some neon guitar strings which were fitted on and ive had that ever since, but every time I played my guitar my fingers would KILL but I play quite regularly so it shouldn't be happening and the guitar always sounded off.

The tone is nice and balanced, but not quite bright in my ears. But if you're planning on taking your music more seriously then I would advise on trying another product.

I bought these hopping they’d last long as advertised. They theoretically stopped manufacturing them in China, but it was too late. I was amazed. I’d been practicing lots of finger picking songs. These are the recommended strings for my Faith Naked Venus guitar.

Low -E to High- E , all strings resonate brighter, longer, truer . They stay in tune from the first tuning, They sound amazing, are said to be long lasting, and were recommended recommended by a local highly regarded guitar instructor.
So i guess that if you have a larger spruce or maple top guitar, these strings may be worth trying.

This set of strings definitely changes the tone - even if you are using an inexpensive guitar. Don't buy these strings if you plan to play agressively or bend, they may break on you and its just not worth the money.

I tried to start a refund or replacement under amazon returns but the extra time to remove the strings and return them for just one string was not really something I had time for so I just put my old G string back on. Decades ago I compared a number of acoustic guitar strings on my Martin HD28, expecting to find them all pretty much alike.

These strings are expensive and I expect to get more mileage than a cheap set of Daddarios but lately this has not been the case. I bought elixirs twice, both times disappointed.
