The only positive of the experience was the meatball we got TO GO because we couldn't stand the blaring rap music.... what used to be my favorite spot in North end is no more, does not live up to its reputation any longer, Great food and excellent service. Gave this 3 stars because although Strega is a classic in Boston, their food is subpar compared to the other restaurants in the North End: nothing spectacular and we did need to add a decent amount of salt to ours as it was lacking flavor. We ended up being seated outside, right next to a sidewalk where a homeless man was sitting (and stayed for the duration of our meal).
